Capitol Conference Center will feature the artwork of Pamela Stallings during ArtWalk June 25.
Stallings was born in to a military family and moved several times as a young child to land in Bowie MD for her early education. She began her Art training while attending Prince George’s Community College and Maryland College of Art and Design after Graduating High School. Pam graduated from Marshall University in Huntington West Virginia with a BFA degree in Commercial Art. Exposed to local artists in the Washington DC Arena she learned to love painting, illustration, printmaking and sculpture. Pam won Best In Show Award at Prince Georges Community College’s student Art Show judged by renowned Anne Geddes. The following years were spent raising a family and pursuing a career in the corporate world.
Most recently Pam has produced a series of oil paintings from surrounding West Virginia landscapes and has s produced a series of pen and ink wildlife illustrations. She received honorable mention in Beckley Art Group Exhibition with “Prosperity Pond” and has recently joined Allied Artists of West Virginia since moving to the Charleston WV area. Pam is now representing WWA Portrait Painters as a Portrait Agent.
