JoAnne Jacobs at Charleston Ballet
On Thursday, July 17, ArtWalk participants are invited to visit the Charleston Ballet studios for complementary snacks and beverages. The Charleston Ballet will be showcasing the artwork of West Virginia native artist JoAnne Jacobs.
Jacobs predominately paints in watercolor, and is influenced by the patterns in nature the mixture of the colors found there. She is a member of the Allied Artists of West Virginia, West Virginia Watercolor Society, West Virginia Art and Craft Guild, Charleston Calligraphy Guild, and is a juried member of the Didrickson Gallery of Tamarack. Jacobs is also represented in collections at the
University of Charleston and Marshall University.
The Charleston Ballet is a nonprofit organization for arts and entertainment founded in 1956. The ballet studios are located on the Mezzanine floor of the Security Building at 100 Capitol Street in downtown Charleston.
