Hilleary at the Charleston Ballet
The Charleston Ballet will be showcasing the artwork of Carol Hilleary during ArtWalk, Thursday, Aug. 20. There will be complementary snacks and beverages for attendees.
Hilleary was born in 1953 in Elkins, West Virginia. She developed a love for pastels in high school, and went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts form Glenville State College. Over the years, she has explored many techniques including pen and ink drawings and watercolors. Her work as been displayed at the Cashtown Inn in Cashtown, Pennsylvania, the Museum of Buffalo History in Buffalo, West Virginia, and several other public and private art collections.
The Charleston Ballet is a nonprofit organization for arts and entertainment founded in 1956. The ballet studios are located on the Mezzanine floor of the Security Building at 100 Capitol Street in downtown Charleston.
