Art Emporium: From a Strong and Unfamiliar Perspective

Art Emporium, at 823 Hale Street, will debut a new exhibition by J.P. Owens titled, “Alien Graffiti: From a Strong and Unfamiliar Perspective.”


Owens used a variety of techniques to create the bold, colorful and innovative mixed media art in the exhibit. 


He earned a bachelor’s degree in fine art, printmaking from West Virginia State University. His work has juried into countless individual as well as group exhibitions along the East Coast and Midwest, as well as many fairs and festivals throughout the years.


His artwork is also included in business and private collections throughout West Virginia.
