Kathy Boland at Art Emporium
Kathy Boland will present her colorful paintings and prints of The Greenbrier’s iconic Dorothy Draper décor at the Art Emporium during the March 17 ArtWalk.
Boland’s new work for the show continues her ongoing exploration of the resort including images of the newly-constructed chapel, a new perspective of the Cameo Ballroom and a portrait of Draper, among many others. At 5:30 p.m. join Boland for a gallery talk Dorothy Draper’s interior design personality, use of color and oversized patterns. Boland, a Charleston-based painter and printmaker, received a bachelor’s of fine art from Marymount College and studied at the Kingston School of Art in London.
