The Children Therapy Clinic will present its 2nd Annual Art Auction for Autism during ArtWalk Thursday, April 21 at Northwestern Mutual. Artwork auctioned off is part of the Community Puzzle Piece Challenge, in recognition of National Autism Awareness Month during April.
All puzzle pieces have been sponsored and decorated by local businesses or groups for the auction. There will be a “People’s Choice” contest with the puzzle pieces and awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. The puzzle pieces will be displayed and sold at the Art Auction held in conjunction with ArtWalk at Northwestern Mutual, 920 Quarrier Street, Charleston on Thursday, April 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The event will also feature artwork by clients from the clinic and several local artists that will be auctioned, too. All proceeds from the silent auction will be used to provide therapy services for children with disabilities. We’ll also have live music for guests to enjoy!
Children's Therapy Clinic is a private, non-profit organization that provides therapy services - speech, occupational, physical, and music therapies and an autism socialization program - to children with special needs who have inadequate insurance and/or income.
