Shunk at Art Emporium
The Art Emporium will debut its newest exhibit Kerfuffle: New Works by Hal Shunk during ArtWalk June 23.
As opposed to a traditional artist pallet, Shunk uses an electric skillet to create his works in encaustics, a medium that uses a mixture of wax and paint to create thickly textured paintings. Shunk is an art professor at Wilmington College and gallery curator of the Harcum Gallery in Wilmington, Ohio. He will be at ArtWalk to answer questions about his artwork.
