December 9, 2016

The Charleston Ballet will feature the artwork of Tammy Nelson Madden at ArtWalk Dec. 15.

She is an emerging artist, working primarily in oils and acrylics. She employs deep colors and a contemporary-impressionistic manner and works with materials such as foam board, fabrics, canvas, paper and wood. Self-taught, Madden has painted props and costumes for the Charleston Ballet including one of her favorite pieces: a 15’ x 10’ backdrop of Buddha on fabric.
