Melissa Doty at Dressmaker's Closet

Showing during ArtWalk, is Melissa Doty who is new to “arting”, as she likes to call it. A lifelong doodler, she began drawing and creating with purpose last summer, eventually finding and falling in love with watercolors last fall. She is a self-taught artist, and is excited to gain experience and try different mediums. She works primarily in watercolor and acryla gouache, and is slowly scaling up to larger pieces. Her work is currently available at Charlie on Bridge Road, and she will have both large and small works on paper displayed at The Dressmaker’s Closet.
