Clay Center POP UP Exhibit features large-scale prints by college students
The Clay Center’s October Pop-Up Exhibit will feature prints by students at West Virginia State University and West Virginia Wesleyan College made during the Juliet Art Museum’s Steam Roll Print Day at Masonic Temple at 107 Hale Street. These students worked on large-scale woodblocks and printed during the day-long event at the Clay Center Sculpture Garden on October 7th. Inspired by works in the current exhibit Images of Social Justice, this showcase of emerging artists’ prints will be displayed at the Clay Center’s Art Walk Pop-Up Exhibit. Sponsors who have helped make Steamroll Print Day a success include Kanawha Stone, Walker Machinery Co., WTSQ, Base Camp Printing Co., Kinship Goods, WVSU, WVWU, and Gamblin Artists Colors.
