This month's featured artist is Rosalie Haizlett. Rosalie is a 23-year-old nature and food illustrator originally from a farm in the northern panhandle of West Virginia. She now resides in Charleston and is one of two Tamarack Foundation for the Arts Emerging Artist Fellows. She loves depicting the tiny worlds that can be found in nature like mushrooms, creekstones, snails, and salamanders. She works primarily in watercolor, gouache, and oils. Her goal is to remind viewers of the amazing intricacy of nature and encourage people to spend a few more minutes scouring the forest floor for tiny treasures on their next adventure into the woods. Please join us for a fun night of art, friends, and fun!
