We will be hosting artist Larry Wolfe this month. Larry states, "My fondest memories are of visits to my family on various family farms in Roane County and Jackson County, West Virginia. When I was old enough, I joined the Boy Scouts. Our troop camped out for two weeks each summer on the Elk River above Clendenin. The Boy Scouts had an influence on my interest in art. Norman Rockwell did covers for Boys Life magazine. He did at least one Boy Scout Handbook cover. I cannot think of a more wonderful way to grow up than this. I love creeks, rivers, ponds and lakes. I think that can be seen in my paintings."
