Our featured artist for August’s ArtWalk is Sharon Jones a self-taught painter, Sharon is inspired by the world around her.

Sharon says, “I am inspired by the world around me. I can see a bird on a post or an interaction between two people as I drive down the street – something inconsequential – and I can't wait to get home to paint. I love all kinds of music. When I see a musician baring his or her heart and soul playing the guitar or keyboard, my mind starts envisioning how I can communicate on my canvas the intensity of their emotion.”
