Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern West Virginia to reveal McGala 2019 theme during October ArtWalk
Charleston, WV: Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern West Virginia will hold a special theme reveal event for McGala 2019 during Downtown Charleston ArtWalk on Thursday, October 18, from 5 p.m.–8 p.m., on the second floor of The Strand building, 209 Hale Street.
“McGala is our biggest fundraiser of the year and is an event that our supporters really look forward to,” said RMHC of Southern WV’s Director, Dewayne Dickens. “We decided to host a theme reveal to not only build up the excitement among those familiar with McGala, but to get the general public, including those who may not know what the event is or about our mission, interested as well.”
The theme reveal will feature music by DJ Nick Scott as well as complimentary refreshments. Eggs will Roll will be selling their egg roll creations at the door for $5 each and 10% of the sales will be donated to RMHC of Southern West Virginia.
Last year, McGala 2018 honored the “Heroes Among Us”. Longtime supporter and prominent local attorney Tom Flaherty was honored for his 30+ years of service to RMHC of Southern West Virginia. Six-year-old Cohen Bramley and his family were also recognized for embodying the heart and soul of what makes Ronald McDonald House so special.
McGala 2019 will be held on February 9, 2019 at Embassy Suites in Charleston. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
