For only the second time in our history, The Art Store will be mounting an exhibition and conducting an auction of works from the estate of two represented artists. Those artists are Grace Martin Taylor and Jim Gibson. You may view the artists biography and see their work from the exhibit by clicking on the live link associated with their names.
This exhibit includes well over 300 stunning examples of Grace Martin Taylor’s amazing career including her coveted white line woodblock prints, some of which are framed. It also includes a handful of Mr. Gibson’s unique sculpture. The exhibit viewing and bidding are from now to 3/30/19. At the end of the exhibit, we will have a Final Bid and Silent Auction reception from 6 to 8 pm on Saturday, March 30.
Interested parties may place a bid anytime during the exhibits. Final bids will be accepted during the Silent Auction/Final bid receptions until 7:30 pm when the bidding ends and the highest bidder purchases the art.
You may view additional biographical information at about Ms. Martin Taylor at The West Virginia Encyclopedia.
Also happening concurrently, The Art Store is having a 30% OFF frame sale plus markdowns on functional art. This portion of the event has been extended to run through Saturday, April 20 and feature our finest archival and conservation framing materials for longevity and protection of your fine works.
*Phone bids are accepted and must include your credit card information. Bidding closes at 7:30 pm.
