United Way Shoe Fund at AIA of West Virginia/Pickering Associates

We will be hosting the United Way of Central WV Equal Footing Shoe Fund this month at the AIA of WV. This is a fund that helps children from the region who are in need of tennis shoes and socks. We will be taking donations of children’s athletic shoes at Artwalk. Equal Footing Shoe Fund program was born out of this very basic, yet sometimes overlooked thought: all children deserve safe shoes to learn, play, and be comfortable in. We believe that a clean, comfortable pair of shoes that fit could mean the world to a child in need.
